Do You Know What Day November 22nd Is? It’s Kimchi Day!!
Kimchi Day is an official day established to preserve the kimchi culture under the UNESCO Intangible Heritage of Humanity to promote the value and excellence of kimchi. It was designated as November 22nd to use at least 11 healthy ingredients such as cabbage and radish to have 22 benefits like enhanced immunity and antioxidants when consumed.

A video will be displayed about Kimchi on the Times Square Billboard in New York City. Take a picture of the moment the Kimchi video is being shown on the big screen and post it on Instagram!

Kimchi Day 1122 – Find Kimchi Man
Find the superhero Kimchi Man on November 22nd! He will only make his appearance for two hours! We’ll give a special gift on a first come first serve basis for those who find him first!
- Event Day: Kimchi Day (November 22nd)
- Event Time: 4:00PM – 6:00PM (2 hours)
- Place: New York Times Square
1. How to participate
- Take a picture of the Kimchi video playing on the Times Square Billboard and post it on your Instagram account
- Find the player 456 from Squid Game (our superhero Kimchi Man) with Kimchi stickers and confirm your Instagram posting
- On a first come first serve basis we will give out prizes
2. Conditions for participation: 18 years old or older and residing in the U.S.
To hand out the prizes on-site to the first 100 people. At the same time, you will qualify for auto entries to the Kimchi Day 1122 – Shoot & Posting Event.
- 1st to 11th place (11 people): Player 456 green tracksuits from Squid Game
- 12th to 33rd place (22 people): Red Guard costumes from Squid Game
- 34th to 100th place (67 people): Kimchi & Friends Box
